“Senior brother, I truly know I was wrong. How about we talk about this outside?”
Ye Ran understood Lu Li’s implication. Her heart trembled, and she braced her arms to scoot backward.
But Lu Li leaned in, advancing step by step. He reached out with his cool fingers, tracing them down her cheek until they pressed firmly against her lips.
“Once we’re outside, there won’t be enough time.”
The words made Ye Ran’s body tremble with fear.
On a normal day, just one night with Lu Li was already more than she could bear. If they stayed inside the Guixu Diagram, she was afraid she would lose half her life.
“We haven’t caught the one who escaped yet. We should go back outside and find him.”
Ye Ran scrambled to her feet, intending to flee, but the next moment Lu Li pressed against her, trapping her in his arms.
“That man is extremely cunning. He’s long gone by now. The priority is teaching junior sister a lesson, so you won’t be easily deceived by ill-intentioned people again.”
Lu Li’s lips brushed against Ye Ran’s ear, his hot breath spilling over her ear in waves.
A tingling itch spread from her ear throughout her body, making even her fingertips go numb.
“Senior brother, I don’t want to do this here. Can we go outside?”
Ye Ran grabbed the arm around her waist, her tone taking on a hint of coaxing.
But Lu Li’s arm remained firmly locked around her. He lowered his head to the crook of her neck and inhaled deeply.
“The scenery here is wonderful. Junior sister, pick a spot you like.”
Lu Li’s voice was still gentle, but beneath that gentleness lay an unmistakable forcefulness.
Clearly, he had made up his mind: he was going to teach her a memorable lesson right here.
Ye Ran’s heart raced with panic. She grabbed Lu Li’s arm, trying to break free, but the hands around her waist held tighter than any chain. No matter how she struggled, she couldn’t loosen his grip even a fraction.
Lu Li seemed extremely patient, calmly watching Ye Ran struggle in his arms.
After a long moment, he suddenly tightened his hold and bit down on her earlobe. Only when her struggles weakened did he release it, licking the teeth marks he had left.
“It seems junior sister is having a hard time choosing. In that case, I’ll decide for you.”
The moment the words left his mouth, Ye Ran’s body lifted into the air.
Carrying her, Lu Li walked toward a large tree with clear purpose.
The moment they approached, the vines wrapped around the tree stirred. They extended down along a thick branch and wove together, forming a swing.
Now Ye Ran understood. All that talk about letting her choose—he had already picked the perfect spot in his mind.
As her thoughts wandered, Lu Li’s voice sounded above her head.
“Does junior sister like swinging?”
Lu Li’s voice had grown husky, with an unmistakable note of eager anticipation.
Ye Ran’s heart jolted. She instantly grasped his intent and quickly shook her head.
“No! Not at all!”
“That’s alright. I’ll work hard to make you like it.”
At this point, Lu Li was beyond reason. His pace quickened.
Before Ye Ran could struggle, they reached the tree and sat down firmly on the swing.
“No, senior brother. Not here.”
Ye Ran pressed against Lu Li’s chest, her heart filled with shock and fear.
She never expected Lu Li to be this adventurous.
Even though the system had been tossed out of the Guixu Diagram and there were only the two of them here, the outdoor setting still made her intensely nervous. It felt as if they were exposed to the whole world.
“Can we go back to your room?”
Knowing there was no escape, Ye Ran compromised and asked to change the location.
But once Lu Li had made up his mind, he rarely changed it.
He didn’t answer. Instead, he lowered his head and sucked on the tender skin of Ye Ran’s neck, gently nibbling at her flesh with his teeth.
Then he worked his way upward, moving from her chin to her lips.
Lu Li’s kiss was agonizingly slow. Ye Ran gradually found herself unable to withstand it, going limp in his arms.
It wasn’t until he had his way that her body suddenly tensed up, and she instinctively bit down on his tongue as it entered her mouth.
Ye Ran was so frightened that she bit hard. The taste of iron immediately spread between their lips and teeth.
Panicking, she let go and pushed his tongue out. Lu Li, unfazed, smiled and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, then leaned close to her ear.
“Junior sister bit down hard.”
After saying this, he let out a sound by her ear that was utterly unfit for polite company.
Ye Ran instantly understood his double meaning. Her body grew even more tense, and her hands clutched tightly at Lu Li’s collar.
“Junior sister, you’d better hold on tight.”
With a soft chuckle in her ear, the swing suddenly began to move.
Ye Ran grew even more nervous, gripping Lu Li’s collar with all her might. But just as the swing reached its highest point, the hands on her waist let go.
Terrified, Ye Ran immediately wrapped her arms around Lu Li’s waist.
But this only pressed them closer together, making it even harder for Ye Ran to bear. Before she could ask Lu Li to stop, the swing suddenly swung even faster. All she could do was hold on tighter.
The rollercoaster sensation was overwhelmingly intense. Soon, Ye Ran lost all strength, and her arms around Lu Li’s waist began to give out.
Just as she was about to let go, those hands returned to her waist, firmly holding her in place.
But before she could catch her breath, the swing suddenly swung faster and higher.
Ye Ran’s mind went completely blank. She felt as if she were floating among the clouds one moment and plunging into the abyss the next.
The mounting intensity reached its peak, and finally, at a certain moment, her body began to tremble uncontrollably.
Only then did the swing stop. Lu Li held Ye Ran still, waiting until she had calmed down before gently patting her back and taking out a porcelain cup.
“Would junior sister like some water?”
Ye Ran leaned against Lu Li’s chest, looking at his smirking lips, and couldn’t help but glare at him.
But she was indeed thirsty, so she reluctantly nodded.
“Alright.”
The moment she spoke, Ye Ran realized how hoarse her voice had become. She secretly pinched Lu Li, then tilted her head back, waiting for him to give her water.
But instead of bringing the cup to her lips, Lu Li drank the tea himself, then lowered his head and kissed her, slowly passing the tea into her mouth.
After feeding her the entire cup, Lu Li lingered, his tongue curling around hers, sucking and savoring until her tongue went numb. Only then did he finally let her go.
Ye Ran rested against Lu Li’s chest, catching her breath. When she looked up again, she saw he was in a good mood, so she tested the waters.
“Senior brother, can we go outside now?”
No sooner had she asked than a cool hand touched her cheek.
“We’ve only just begun, junior sister. Why the rush?”
With that, Lu Li suddenly stood up, lifting Ye Ran with him.
The motion startled her, but what scared her even more were his words. She quickly threw her arms around his neck and pleaded:
“Senior brother, I truly know I was wrong. Can we please go outside first?”
“No need to be nervous, junior sister. I’m just taking you to freshen up.”
Lu Li’s voice carried a soothing tone.
If it weren’t for that persistent, swollen sensation, Ye Ran might have actually believed him.
Ye Ran grew a bit angry. She lowered her head and bit down hard on Lu Li’s neck. Only when a moan came from above did she finally stop.
But when she looked up at Lu Li, she saw not only a smile on his face but also a trace of lingering satisfaction.
“Junior sister can bite even harder. I like it.”
His nearly perverse words made Ye Ran shiver. The next moment, the arms around her waist suddenly tightened.
“Is junior sister cold? Don’t worry. We’ll reach the hot spring soon. We can soak for a long time.”
“No!”
Ye Ran pushed frantically against Lu Li’s chest, but it was already too late.
Lu Li carried her to the hot spring and, without giving her a chance to struggle, stepped directly into the water with her in his arms.
“Senior brother, can you please— mmph…”
Before Ye Ran could finish, Lu Li pressed her against the stone wall and silenced her with a kiss.
They stayed in the hot spring for a long time. Afterward, Lu Li carried Ye Ran as if admiring the scenery, taking her to many different places.
There was no day or night inside the Guixu Diagram. Ye Ran had no idea how long Lu Li had kept her there. All she knew was that he gave her no time to rest, even feeding her his spiritual energy to keep her from passing out.
Finally, after she repeatedly insisted that she had learned her lesson and would never let other men get close to her again, Lu Li finally let her go.
This time, Ye Ran slept so deeply that when she opened her eyes again, she had no idea how many days had passed.
The moment she sat up, she was still disoriented, almost afraid she was still inside the Guixu Diagram.
Only when her throat felt parched did she get out of bed and pour herself a cup of tea.
After downing the cup, the haze lifted, and Ye Ran confirmed that she was back.
But when she looked around, she noticed some changes. A desk had appeared, along with many things that didn’t belong to her.
“Host! You’re finally awake!”
Just then, the system came bounding over and threw itself into Ye Ran’s arms.
Ye Ran immediately grabbed the system by the scruff of its neck and pointed at the new desk.
“System, why are there so many extra things in my room?”
“They all belong to the big villain. He moved in to live with you.”
The system’s tone was eerily calm, as if it had already accepted the situation.
But Ye Ran was incredulous.
“What? When did this happen? I had no idea!”
She had a vague feeling that the world had turned upside down while she was asleep.
“It happened while you were unconscious, host.” The system nuzzled against Ye Ran’s palm and added, “Oh, and by the way, host, you’ve been asleep for three days.”
“I slept that long!”
Ye Ran knew she had slept a long time, but she hadn’t realized it was three full days and nights.
“No way. I can’t live with the big villain.”
Ye Ran suddenly stood up and slammed her hand on the table.
Everything that had happened in the Guixu Diagram still haunted her. If she lived with Lu Li now, she was afraid her waist would break.
“Why not, host? Isn’t it good to live with the big villain? Jing Xing’s accomplice hasn’t been caught yet. Having the big villain around would keep you safe.”
That was true, but…
“System, you don’t understand. Living with the big villain will really be the death of me.”
After saying this with profound seriousness, Ye Ran turned around and began packing up Lu Li’s things, intending to return them all.
But the moment she opened the cabinet and took out one of Lu Li’s robes, a cool hand grabbed hers.
“What is junior sister doing?”
