“Don’t you dare insult Sister Song, you big bully!”
Heidan was so enraged that he nearly charged at Deng Chunhua to fight her.
Song Wei held him back with one hand, calming the two children before letting out a sinister smile.
“You two, step aside.”
She stretched her arms and legs, preparing herself as she walked forward.
A crowd had already gathered, drawn by the commotion stirred up by Shuanzi’s shouts as he ran to get help. Some adults, initially intending to intervene, hesitated upon seeing how things were unfolding.
Deng Chunhua, sensing Song Wei’s menacing gaze, shrank back and scurried behind her brother-in-law, Lin Laosi, putting on a false air of bravado.
“I’m not scared of you! And besides, everything I said was true. You-“
“Move.” Song Wei’s cold expression and commanding tone froze Lin Laosi in place.
Still nursing the pain from being struck earlier, Lin Laosi, now humiliated in front of the crowd, turned red with anger. With a roar, he charged at Song Wei.
“I’ll teach you a lesson, you stupid woman!”
Before his hand could even land on her, Song Wei delivered a sharp kick, sending him flying two meters back, colliding with Deng Chunhua along the way.
The pair’s screams of pain echoed as Lin Laosi’s wife stood in stunned silence, her shock lasting several seconds before she rushed to help her husband.
Song Wei didn’t stop there. She yanked Deng Chunhua up by the hair and delivered two resounding slaps across her face.
“If you can’t speak properly, then shut your filthy mouth.”
She punctuated her statement by kicking Lin Laosi again, sending him rolling several more times on the ground.
“Ahhh! Song Wei, I’ll fight you to the death!”
Deng Chunhua, her head spinning, swung her arms wildly. Song Wei sidestepped her flailing attacks, waited for her to turn her back, and then kicked her squarely on the backside.
Deng Chunhua let out a scream, falling flat on her face. To her misfortune, she landed directly on a pile of dog feces, smearing it all over her face.
The stench filled the air, and the surrounding onlookers erupted into laughter.
A child clapped gleefully, shouting, “Deng Aunty ate dog poop!”
Realizing what was on her face, Deng Chunhua gagged and began dry heaving.
Meanwhile, Lin Lao’er arrived, carrying his elderly mother on his back. What greeted him was the sight of Song Wei effortlessly overpowering his family. His wife’s hair was a mess, her face swollen, and his son, Lin Youcai, was crying while Song Wei spanked him with a bamboo stick.
“You brat, if you don’t learn now, you’ll grow up just as rotten. Let this be a lesson in what happens when you bully others!”
Song Wei’s strikes were firm but controlled, hitting Lin Youcai on his padded rear where it hurt but wouldn’t cause any lasting harm.
Lin Youcai wailed, promising through his sobs, “I won’t do it again! I won’t bully Heidan anymore!”
His mother rushed forward to intervene, only for Song Wei to deliver another slap to her face.
Lin Lao’er, now red with rage, set his mother down and charged at Song Wei.
Despite his imposing stature and muscular build, earned from years of labor, he fared no better.
“Father, help me!” Lin Youcai cried out, believing his father would rescue him.
Instead, Lin Lao’er was swiftly kicked to the ground by Song Wei, leaving his son speechless.
Lin Youcai sniffled and muttered, “Even my dad can’t save me. I’m doomed…”
Song Wei finally released Lin Youcai and turned her attention to Lin Youfu, who had tried to assault Heidan earlier.
Lin Youfu froze like a deer in headlights but managed to turn and run. He didn’t get far before Song Wei grabbed him and flipped him over her shoulder.
Lin Youcai, despite his pain, couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of relief. Watching Lin Youfu’s predicament made his own spanking seem less severe.
Old lady Lin, sat on the ground wailing and cursing Song Wei, calling her every name under the sun. Song Wei ignored her, systematically disciplining each family member.
After finishing her work, Song Wei delivered a final warning. “Heidan is under my protection now. Stay away from him. If I catch you causing trouble again, I won’t go easy next time.”
With that, she left with Heidan and Shuanzi trailing behind, their faces full of admiration.
“Sister Song is amazing!” Shuanzi exclaimed.
“I’m going to ask her to teach me how to fight so I can be just as strong!” another child declared.
The onlookers, though impressed by Song Wei’s skill, made a mental note not to cross her in the future.
However, sympathy for the Lin family was scarce. One of the village women spat on the ground and sneered at old lady Lin.
“Serves you right! Your family started this by bullying Heidan. Now that someone’s finally standing up to you, you can’t handle it, can you?”
Another woman chimed in mockingly, “You always brag about how tough your sons are. Funny how not one of them could handle a single woman. What a joke!”
The crowd’s disdain stemmed from years of grievances against the Lin family, who had long been the village troublemakers.
By the time the village party secretary arrived, old lady Lin had transitioned from wailing to berating the onlookers for not helping her family. This led to a shouting match with several women, further escalating the scene.
The village party secretary, visibly annoyed, silenced everyone.
“Enough! Lin family, can’t you go one day without causing chaos? You’re turning this village into a circus!”
He had a bad impression of the Lin family because of the incident between Lin Xiaocao and Luo Yecheng. Moreover, he learned from his daughter that it was Song Wei who led her to see Luo Yecheng’s true face, so he had a good impression of Song Wei.
So he was very rude when speaking to the Lin family.
